The University of Zambia Journal of Agricultural and Biomedical Sciences (JABS) is proud to announce the release of two official manuscript submission templates—one for Microsoft Word and another for LaTeX. This milestone marks a major step toward improving formatting consistency, enhancing author experience, and streamlining the peer review process.

The new templates are designed to help authors align their manuscripts with JABS editorial standards right from the drafting stage. They include predefined styles, section headings, citation formats, and tables and figures placement, in full compliance with the journal’s guidelines.

We're excited to announce the addition of Kezzy Besa and Elijah Chileshe, who officially joined the Diamond Open Access Publishing in Africa (DOA) project team as Editorial Support Assistants on June 23, 2025. Their arrival significantly enhances our capacity to manage and streamline publishing operations.
