The Diamond Open Access Publishing in Africa (DOA) project team at the University of Zambia (UNZA) is pleased to welcome two new postgraduate students who have joined the research initiative.

Both Harris Shikapande & Mubanga Chibesa are currently pursuing the Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science.

They will contribute to the project's efforts in advancing open-access publishing infrastructure.

Their research and technical expertise will support the development of sustainable, accessible, and innovative digital publishing solutions in Africa.

Under the supervision of Dr. Lighton Phiri, Prof. Chisoni Mumba, Dr. Christine Kanyengo, and Dr. Eness Chitumbo, they will be working on various aspects of the Diamond Open Access project, including metadata management, indexing, and digital repository systems to enhance knowledge dissemination across the continent.
